Mumbai School Sports Association organized the MSSA FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT for GIRLS UNDER 16 at AZAD MAIDAN, CST on  from 23^rd Aug to 7^th Sept 2017. Top teams from schools of Mumbai and suburbs competed in the event. The girls under 16 team of our School participated in it reached up to the hard fought pre quarter final stage. 

 APS, Mumbai bagged the 1st position among 8 schools in the cluster level Inter school Quiz competition. This win helped the school team qualify for the next round at the Command level held on 9th Sept, 2017 at APS, Jhansi.  The school team stood Third at the Command level.The school team consisted of Panjali Choudhay 12A, Koustabh Mishra 12A and Siddharth Pammi 12B.

32 top teams from schools of Mumbai and suburbs competed in the event. Our School bagged the RUNNERS UP TROPHY in a hard fought finals match ceding to a penalty shootout. The team received Silver medals  and merit certificates

The Inaugural edition of ‘COLABA MUSINGS,2017’ – an  Inter-School Debate Competition was hosted by Army Public School, Colaba on 9^th Aug,2017 at Colaba, Mumbai under the aegis of UMG & G Sub - Area. The brainchild of Chairman, APS, Mumbai, Maj Gen Rajiv Edwards,VSM** this initiative aims at enhancing the reputation of APS, Mumbai and bolstering inter-school ties in the region. The seminal event saw enthusiastic participation from schools in south Mumbai region.

Hosts APS, Mumbai, clearly towering head and shoulders over other teams dazzled with their incisive arguments and walked away with the best Overall Team Trophy in the keenly contested event. KV No.2 bagged the Runners – Up Trophy. SatvikTejasvi and Abhijith SM of APS, Mumbai bagged the awards for the best speakers – For &Against the motion respectively.AshutoshGhagof NCS, Colaba received the award for the Best Interjector. The programme came in for high praise from the visiting principals, judges and participants who lauded the initiative and the performance of the participants.

The Bombay City District Annual Athletics Championship 2017 was held at the University Sports Pavilion, Marine Lines, Mumbai on 10thand 11^th August 2017 .It was organized bythe Bombay City District Annual Athletics Association. A total 1300 students from all over Mumbai city participated in the meet including 6 students APS,Mumbai. We are proud to announce that we bagged 2 GOLD, 3 SILVER and 1 BRONZE MEDALS.

Army Public School, Mumbai Organized and hosted the first Colaba Military Station Football (Boys under 16) at Garrison ground, Colaba on   18^th August 2017.

A total of 5 teams from Colaba military station took part in the championship. The Finals saw a spirited clash between hosts Army Public School v/s K. V 2.The keenly fought tussle saw a draw at final whistle where neither team allowed the other to score a goal. Rivals K.V 2 won the match in Penalties with a score of 4 – 2.APS, Mumbai settled for the Silver Runners up Trophy.
